My experience of traveling to Kedarnath Dham

A trip to Kedarnath Dham is a very beautiful experience. This journey gives you a different feeling of life. Kedarnath Dham is located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. After traveling by bus or taxi up to Gaurikund, you can go further by trekking from here.

The distance of the trekking route from Gaurikund to Kedarnath is about 14 km. Initially, this trek seems very easy, but it becomes very difficult as you proceed further. If you are fond of trekking, then you can proceed by trekking. Otherwise, you can travel through the horse, Kandi, etc.

After proceeding on this difficult path, as soon as you have a glimpse of the temple of Kedarnath from afar, you will have a different feeling. You can realize this feeling only when you travel to Kedarnath. From here you will feel a divine feeling. You will forget all your tiredness.

Gaurikund is the last bus stop. You can go here by bus, taxi or car. You can do about 17 km trekking from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. Or by horse, sedan and Kandi.

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Dehradun. The distance from Jolly Grant to Kedarnath is about 254 km.

The nearest railway station is Rishikesh.
